Wanderlust was invited by Trelleborg to celebrate the inauguration of their new factory in Hal Far in a bold and memorable way—highlighting their vision for the brand and generating excitement around this milestone. The goal was to tell the Trelleborg story and create a lasting impression on staff, partners, and stakeholders, while reflecting the company’s innovative spirit in every detail of the event.
The event also marked a significant moment in Malta’s economic growth. During the inauguration, Prime Minister Robert Abela highlighted the Malta 2050 vision, which aims to increase the added value in the manufacturing sector by another €1 billion over the next decade. Trelleborg has invested €34 million in the expansion, including infrastructure and new equipment, to operate the extended facility where the company will integrate its expertise in the semi-conductor sector with that of bio-pha.
Wanderlust aimed to design an event with purpose and impact: to celebrate and unite the people central to Trelleborg’s success, fostering enthusiasm for the next chapter in the company’s journey.
Wanderlust together with the Trelleborg Management team managed to successfully generate immediate engagement from the 300 invited leading shareholders, suppliers, partners, employees, Malta Enterprise and INDIS Malta. whilst offering an unforgettable afternoon of surprise and delight.
Some of the key elements that made the event such a success were the venue transformation, the new Hal Far factory was transformed into an innovative manufacturing showcase. The interior was set up for presentations to stage the incredible Trelleborg brand and its story. Visual presentations, typical Maltese Folk Band, a bar area for drinks, flowing canapés, DJ, music, photographers and branded Trelleborg merchandise all contributed to the atmosphere, enhanced by the unique backdrop of Hal Far, Wied Znuber Cliffs.
